About the Artist

I am a mixed media artist based out of the Nashville Tennessee area. Graduating in December of 2025, I have studied visual arts and graphic design at Middle Tennessee State University.

I work specifically with textiles, oil paint, pastels, and digital design software. Using expressive line work and a gestural style, I work in an abstract, impressionistic way. This is accomplished by working intuitively, allowing room for discoveries and unexpected outcomes.

Conceptually, I am exploring the concepts of memory, childhood, and the relationships between the two with a focus on personal history, nature, and the mundanity of life. Much of my work is a reflection of my family, self perception, and girlhood.

The creative process is important to me, as it serves as a means of self-reflection allowing me to explore my memories and emotions. By working intuitively with a variety of media, a space is created to further understand my own thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. This process allows me to communicate emotions that are otherwise hard to pinpoint and articulate, creating work that transforms my personal experiences into meaningful visual expressions.

Though personal to my own past, I want my artwork to be a space of empathy and shared connections, where the viewer's related experiences open the door for a human connection and deeper understanding of one another.
